There was an important job to be done.

Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.Anybody could have it,but Nobody did it.

Somebody got angry about that,because it was Everybody's job.Everybody thought Anybody could do it;but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.It ended up Everybody,blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done!-ANONYMOUS-

As I heard this song I felt sad and my mind always said that this song is really right.God has a purpose and everything was in plan for us to became a totally person..God will never leave us empty cOz he will replace everything you have lost.If he asks you to put something down its becauseHe wants us to pick something great..Especially now,that we heard that not all of us will make to the Top(only V.O. knows that!)

I feel sad and something pain felt in my heart..(napakahirap sabihin!Shit!)

I want to share this to you Guyz..especially the V.O.

Why God created pain and hurt?

why after cheers and laughter we need to cry?

Why not all smiles be painted on our faces?

BECAUSE sometimes we dont have to thank Him when we are happy,

Sometimes God let us experience pain for us to recognize Him!

Our nation is in economic crisis.It is surrounded by putrid politicians and some mischievous citizens.It is threatened because of a very frustrating economy and because of this,more and more people are influenced to do criminal things,just to survive a single day,Who's to be blamed?Is it just the depraved government leaders and the destructive citizens of our nation?or...All of us citizens in this country?Is our hope running thin towards justice,peace,unity and love?Who is going to save this time of darkness?

Close your eyes and prepare yourselves for the birth of an heroic creature made by God!

Days of darkness,reign of terror,fiascos,devastation of mother earth...These should be over!Enough is enough!

Released by the cage of ignorance awakened by the cruel realities a new breed of allies,stronger than Superman,wiser than Batman.Super Inggo portrayed by youthfulness ,fresh from innocence.Have no fear!NEwly sprouted.Equipped with courage and determination,bestowed by God from the heavens above.Arise!Arise!Young warriors of God!

We believe,that we the young warriors are the saviors of this nation.But how can we be the heroes of this nation if most of us are engaged in drug addiction,premarital sex and immorality.Can we still save our country?when the fact is,it is us who should be saved from the cage that we're in.When will we start coming out of the shellthat trapped us from our responsibilities as a youth?The sands of time have been running out and we have to rise now!

We stand now!From the blink of destruction.The cries of war echoes from the wind.Heroes like us are badly needed to change the society that is corrupt.A society that little by little destroys our being and put us in agony.Aren't we tired of this?We are so full of endless suffering and pain!Let us see,listen and speak.We must not let ourselves fall from temptation and sins that destroy our being.

She is crying in deep pain.The pearl of the orient seas turns black because of how her people abuse her and how her brethren fought against each other for greed and power!

Think of tomorrow.If we won't act now,this suffering would be infinity!We are the hope of our nation and we can still be!It's us who must save our country from deep fall.Each one of us must work hard and unite as one!

Drugs and different casualties,put them into trash.Love,peace,unity and joy plant them in our hearts.Feed our hungry minds with knowledge and wisdom.Fill our stoned hearts with love and care,our dying soul with faith in God.Dont let our future be stolen from us!

We are given wonderful talents and gifts from God.Each one of us is given intellect and proper will and with that we must use them for good to be our weapons against the evil!

Different World United In Love (from my Multiply)

My first short story.:)

It's started with a smile.He passed by and I fell inlove....His name is Henry.Henry,Christian Peneda Lopez...The most popular in our school.He's a head turner.Mr.Smart Talker and heartthrob in our school.You name it,he have it.Their family is one of the prominent in the city.He was to marry a rich daughter from a friend of their family.His parents made sure of this when they agreed

to wed his to their friend daughter when he was still a baby.Most of the time he wears a smile that everyone catches his attention,always surrounded by friends and is never lonely.


We were in the same school but we were not in the same class.His in the first section while Im in the midlle section.Few of his friends are also my friends too.I never got the chance to be friend him because firstly,were not classmate and mostly I am just "nobody" in school.Besides,we live in different world.He's watching concert of the most popular foreign artist while Im working in the fast food chain during weekends,or he's having a fun at the Boracay while Im working at night to have a money for my family.


He's undeniably handsome while Im not your typical ordinary student.I have a long hair always tied up to a ponytail.I wear usually a watch at my right wrist and only earings are my jewelry that you will see to me.I am just a simple student.

I always visit my friend that is also a classmate of Henry.I always wait at the corridor were I used to do.Everytime I went there,he is always there too.Watching the people playing and running in the gym.

One afternoon,I barrowed a book to my friend.After I used it,I immediately went to my friend classroom to return the book.The door is lock and no one is there.Suddenly,a boy approached me,"hey,is there anything wrong"he asked,"yeah,can you return this book to Regina?please,tell her thank you"I answered.He immediately replied,"okay,I will tell her".
After that,I immediately ran and passed by.

I couldn't sleep at night for regretted not to introduce myself to him.I blamed myself for not having the courage to talk to him.I only I have done so,we could have been friends now.

The next morning,I went on with my life trying not to think what happened yesterday.I attended my classes and went to work after that.
A week had pass,I never saw Henry,Im just only thinking maybe he's just taking a vacation.
I waited another week,but still no Henry showed up.
I visited my friend w/c is also a classmate of Henry.My friend's words were still ringing in my ears."Henry stopped schooling because he went to States!".the pain was agonizing that I didn't attend my class anymore.I went immediately to the C.R.to hide my feelings there....
I took one last looked in the mirror and whispered,"what's wrong with you,he's just a man and beside you live in different world...Henry is not your boyfriend so who cares..."And I went home...
Years had passed,his face is always in my mind and I never forgot his gentle face.His eyes sparkling every moment I saw,his red lips stick to my mind everytime I walk in the corridor,especially his two dimples w/c catches my attention everytime he smiles.
One day my friend invited me to go to the museum.As I was going to enter,I saw a painting that catches my attention.The girl in the picture looks familiar to me.She was running behing the girl was a boy holding a book.I realized that the girl in the painting who is running was....
Me?
Suddenly a man grabbed my hand and telling,"Im sorry that I leave you,I am very much thankful for knowing me.I love you I couldn't bear to marry to another woman so I decided to go to States".
When I looked into his eyes I almost screamed.I am not expecting the man who I really loved
will love me too,the same as I...
In the end,we became lovers and we decided to go to States and start a new beginning of our life as a couple...-FIN-

Ang ENTABLADO38 - MC6 class (Theater Theories and Production) ng Holy Cross of Davao College at ang SiniKom (Sining ng Komunikasyon) ng Ateneo de Davao University ay nagsanib pwersa upang tulungan ang mga kababayan  na nasalanta ng Bagyong Undoy at Pepeng sa Luzon.

Dito,nabuo ang isang konsepto na nagpapahiwatig ng pakikiramay sa mga taong nasalanta ng bagyo at higit sa lahat sa ating inang-kalikasan.Bukod tangi namin ipresenta ang aming pakikiisa at pakikiramay sa nangyaring trahedya.Gamit ang aming talentong ibinigay ni Bathala ito ang nagsisilbi naming inspirasyon upang matulungan ang mga nalasantang kapatid sa Luzon.

Type Two in Brief

Twos are empathetic, sincere, and warm-hearted. They are friendly, generous, and self-sacrificing, but can also be sentimental, flattering, and people-pleasing. They are well-meaning and driven to be close to others, but can slip into doing things for others in order to be needed. They typically have problems with possessiveness and with acknowledging their own needs. At their Best: unselfish and altruistic, they have unconditional love for others.

Louise is a minister who shares the joy she finds in being a Two.

When Twos are healthy and in balance, they really are loving, helpful, generous, and considerate. People are drawn to them like bees to honey. Healthy Twos warm others in the glow of their hearts. They enliven others with their appreciation and attention, helping people to see positive qualities in themselves that they had not previously recognized. In short, healthy Twos are the embodiment of “the good parent” that everyone wishes they had: someone who sees them as they are, understands them with immense compassion, helps and encourages with infinite patience, and is always willing to lend a hand—while knowing precisely how and when to let go. Healthy Twos open our hearts because theirs are already so open and they show us the way to be more deeply and richly human.

Louise continues:

“All of my jobs revolved around helping people. I was a teacher who wanted to be sensitive to children and help them get off to a good start. I was a religious education director in a number of parishes. I thought that if people learned about the spiritual life, they’d be happier…The most important part of my life is my spiritual life. I was in a religious community for ten years. I married a former priest, and we both have our spirituality as the basis of our life together.”

However, Twos’ inner development may be limited by their “shadow side”—pride, self-deception, the tendency to become over-involved in the lives of others, and the tendency to manipulate others to get their own emotional needs met. Transformational work entails going into dark places in ourselves, and this very much goes against the grain of the Two’s personality structure, which prefers to see itself in only the most positive, glowing terms.

Perhaps the biggest obstacle facing Twos, Threes, and Fours in their inner work is having to face their underlying Center fear of worthlessness. Beneath the surface, all three types fear that they are without value in themselves, and so they must be or do something extraordinary in order to win love and acceptance from others. In the average to unhealthy Levels, Twos present a false image of being completely generous and unselfish and of not wanting any kind of pay-off for themselves, when in fact, they can have enormous expectations and unacknowledged emotional needs.

Average to unhealthy Twos seek validation of their worth by obeying their superego’s demands to sacrifice themselves for others. They believe they must always put others first and be loving and unselfish if they want to get love. The problem is that “putting others first” makes Twos secretly angry and resentful, feelings they work hard to repress or deny. Nevertheless, they eventually erupt in various ways, disrupting Twos’ relationships and revealing the inauthenticity of many of the average to unhealthy Two’s claims about themselves and the depth of their “love.”

But in the healthy range, the picture is completely different. My own (Don) maternal grandmother was an archetypal Two. During World War II, she was “Moms” to what seemed like half of Keisler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi, feeding the boys, allowing her home to be used as a “home away from home,” giving advice and consolation to anyone lonely or fearful about going to war. Although she and her husband were not wealthy and had two teenage children of their own, she cooked extra meals for the servicemen, put them up at night, and saw to it that their uniforms had all of their buttons and were well pressed. She lived until her 80’s, remembering those years as the happiest and most fulfilling of her life—probably because her healthy Two capacities were so fully and richly engaged.

The 1st duty: GMA Davao (from my multiply)

hahaha!!!It's so funny.

I've already start my 3rd duty in RGMA (our media entity for 3rd rotation) then this time,I just type what I have learned from my first rotation..hahaha!! (ULAHI SA TANANG ULAHI!)Pasagdi-a na lang!!haha!Anyway,while I' m writing this,I send an article,written report and pictures of the feast of Sto.Nino which celebrated last Saturday. 

During my stay in GMA-TV5.It was a difficult task but exciting. At first,I feel so scared every time I went to the news room or at the lobby waiting for the staff and employee or shall I say reporters which we(with my chum and the rest of the GMA pipz interns) will be with them in finding and gathering the news.It was a privilege that I and my chum Regine was assigned in TESTIGO..I am also thankful that my reporter partner is Mr.Tec Ocampo.my first experienced with Him is good.I witnessed a dead body,went to the city hall in city mayor's office,Marco Polo for the club 88then last interviewed Sen.Chiz Escudero.There are lot of things that I've learned and experienced during I was assigned to Sir Tec.Then the rest of my experience is also amazing especially when I joined the group of Ms. Brecil Kempis (reporter) with Sir Christian (cameraman),Maam Donna Timbal(reporter) with sir Bebot (Cameraman) ,Sir Mark Narreto (reporter) with Sir Bombom (cameraman), maam Mariz Posadas(reporter) with sir Randy (cameraman) and Sir ReaL Sorroche (reporter).

When maam Marj (the head of the newsroom) told us to have an exchanging of program and we were assigned to the UNA KA Bai program,it was a difficult task because we need to wake up early in the morning (3AM) for the UNA Ka Bai program.

In the end,I felt so happy especially when I met maam Grace (the one who monitor the programs UKB-MBM,she is also the associate producer of the documentary program ISYU KARON).She is the one who taught me how to make a comparative report and monitor the two programs in the morning. i felt so blessed especially when I had a connection to them,I felt so happy every time I work on the assigned task given to me.Hindi man naka ISYU KARON but I'm still blessed with what I have learned from the two programs.

P.S. Hindi lang mga empleyado ng GMA aming nakasama kundi mga media/press people and also mga manang sa kanto sa GMA especially sina ate na nagatinda sa atbang sa GMA and atbang sa TV-5..

Sobrang happy especially na kasama namin si Jerson Porio and Sarah Padogdog for the 2nd rotation.
But scared really scared that PRINT is my next media entity.
Honestly,I am weak in this field because I am not a good writer especially in Feature Writing...huhuhuhu! I may be good in drawing but writing is my weakness.
As we met our media supervisor Sir Frances Fuentes he gave to us immediately what we should do as a reporter of DC Herald.
Davao Catholic Herald is published every Sunday by the Archbishop Mabutas Media Center Foundation, Inc. (formerly Bishop Thibault Media Center) with editorial & business office at the San Pablo Church Compound, Juna Subdivision, Matina, Davao city.

PARISHES LIGHT UP FOR A CAUSE

ST. FRANCIS of Asisi parish in Ma-a and Ascension of the Lord parish in GKK Heights, <atina together with the people are armed with exemplary ideas that will provide a merry celebration for the dawn mass.

The Light a Star and Adopt a tree is the highlight of St. Francis of Asisi parish, while Ascension of the Lord parish is lighting of Christmas Lights.

The two parishes initiated their respective projects as a fund-raising activity that became a yearly activities of the parish,where each lights and trees are sponsored by individuals,families and private companies.The proceeds will directly help the parish and its endeavor to bring the plan into completion.

The Lighting of Christmas Lights and Adopting a tree is an avenue for bonding and camaraderie among the donors and the parishioners.

For the first day of Misa de Gallo,the presider was Rev. Fr. Zenon B. Ampong,parish priest of Ma-a who led the lighting of tree before beginning the first day of Misa de Gallo in St. Francis of Asisi parish and for the Ascension of the Lord parish was Fr. Leonardo Dublan Jr.

The two parishes hope for the people's support in their projects.

Don’t Fail the Pinoys

     Former president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Jaro Archbishop Angel Lagdameo has called on President Benigno Aquino III not to disappoint the Filipinos who are hoping for change under his term.

     In a report posted at the cbcpnews website, the archbishop said that it’s high time for politicians to serve the people for common goal and welfare, order and harmony of the governed who are the Filipino people. He also asked prayers for the incoming administration and other newly elected officials that they will remain true to their commitment in serving the public. (Story by John Frances C. Fuentes) 

Don’t equate Sacraments with money 

     Instead of bothering themselves on the expenses on what are the foods to prepare during baptismal and wedding, Catholics should bear in mind that receiving that sacraments should be the first consideration as members of the Catholic Church and not the expenses equated with occasions of receiving the sacraments. On Catholic Education: Prayer, not an extra option

     Teaching prayer in Catholic schools should not be considered an extra feature, but an essential part of the institutions that children should receive.

     Archbishop of Armagh and Private of All Ireland Cardinal Sean Brady said that children right to be led and formed in authentic worship to God in the catholic tradition to be promoted and respected.

     The cardinal also encouraged Catholic schools to focus their attention not on excellence in academic or sporting activities but also to excellence in worship. (Story by John Frances C. Fuentes)

Archbishop Capalla: Moral Poverty exists

     Apart from the temporal or worldly poverty seen in the Philippines, people have to also look and be wary of the Philippines of moral poverty.

    During his homily on the Mass the officiated at the St. Francis Xavier College Seminary (XACOSE) on occasion of the feast of St. John Marie Vianney, Archbishop Capalla told concelebrating priests and seminarians present that moral poverty manifests in people who lose their sense of sin.      The celebration of the month of vocations this September has deemed it right and fitting to emphasize the importance of vocation as a gift and as a commitment.

     This adage, according to Archbishop of Davao Fernando R. Capalla would best speak that in every occasion, public or private, formal or informal requires a proper dress code especially if one is attending the Eucharistic celebration- a solemn and sacred occasion.
